It is a simple, intentional framework of practices that will order our days around growing in love for God and others. It provides shared rhythms that help us to grow in holiness and form us into people who reflect the character of Christ.

A rule of life works like a trellis for a vine. The trellis does not produce fruit on its own, but it provides the structure that supports healthy growth over time. In the same way, a rule of life creates simple, life-giving rhythms that hold us steady, so the Spirit can form us and produce lasting fruit in our lives.

Whether we realize it or not, everyone already lives by a rule of life. Our habits, schedules, and priorities are quietly shaping the kind of growth we are currently experiencing. If we desire different fruit—deeper peace, faithfulness, love, etc.—then our existing rhythms may need to be adjusted so that they can support the kind of fruit we hope to grow.

Our Rule of life if built in tandem with our Be Love Emphases. With in each emphasis lives a practice that makes up our Rule of Life. Our Rule is built on daily practices, weekly practices, and routinely done practices.  We hold to 8 practices that people who call Be Love Co. their church live out daily, weekly, and routinely. We believe this is modeled by the early church as a "way of Life".  For us to practice the way of Jesus is to do what Jesus did, and all our practices are built on things we see in scripture, that Jesus, The Apostles, and the early church did often.

This does not mean that to come to Be Love Co. you have to integrate into our Rule of Life, but rather, we believe that these are paths to your spiritual formation to become who God has always designed you to be.
